Installation Tips for PET Vinyl

  • The Protective Cap: This roll comes with a clear protective film on top. You can leave it on while squeegeeing flat surfaces to prevent scratches. Remove it before heating or stretching around corners.
  • Post-Heating: Always post-heat complex curves to 200°F (95°C) to lock the vinyl memory and prevent lifting.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this color closer to blue or pink?

Rupee Purple is a "True Purple." It sits perfectly in the middle—deeper than lavender but brighter than our Midnight Purple.

Do I need to use an adhesion promoter?

No. The Henkel adhesive is strong enough for all painted surfaces. Use the promoter only on raw plastic or in deep recesses.

How much do I need for a sedan?

A 55ft (17m) roll is standard for a full wrap on a Tesla Model 3, BMW 3-Series, or Honda Civic.
